Everything You Need to Know About the Powur Opportunity

Powur is a new multilevel marketing company that wants to “facilitate the largest transfer of wealth in history” by bringing energy production to average people like you and me. Here’s what you need to know about Powur.

What is Powur?

Powur, found at Powur.com, is a multilevel marketing company that wants to put solar panels on 2 million homes by 2025 while paying its members $1 billion to help them do it.

Basically, Powur has realized there’s never been a better time to “go solar”. It’s more cost-effective than ever before. Plus, tools like Google’s Project Sunroof let you easily see how effective solar panels could be on the roof of your home.

Despite these advantages, people still run into an essential problem: the upfront costs of solar panel installation. Most of us can benefit in the long run through solar panel installation – but few of us can afford the $50,000 to $80,000+ in upfront installation costs.

This is why Powur wants to “facilitate the largest transfer of wealth in history.” They want to decentralize energy production while also building your income through solar panel sales. Everybody wins.

About Powur

Powur was created by a guy name Jonathan Budd in 2014. Budd is the founder and CEO of the company. Budd doesn’t have decades of industry experience and he’s not a world-famous name. He did, however, run another MLM company and was successful at building that network (that company was called Empowered Entrepreneurs).

After 3 years of research and development, Budd launched Powur in 2014. The company’s executive team is a wealth of MLM talent. They all have extensive backgrounds in the industry.

It’s important to note that Powur is a genuine B-Corp. That means the IRS has officially classified Powur as a corporation that will benefit the public while also growing its bottom line.

Basically, the company wants to perform charity-like work while also earning considerable income.

The people who sell Powur products are called “Advocates” because they’re advocating for the use of clean energy.

What Does Powur Sell?

Powur sells solar energy. Powur advocates are based across the United States selling solar panels on homes.

These Advocates discuss the benefits of solar energy (like the fact that it’s clean and it uses free sunlight). Then, the Advocate will examine the customer’s home and come up with a quote and estimated cost savings for solar energy.

Once Powur has evaluated the home, they contract out to a solar panel manufacturer and installation company. Then, the Powur advocate gets paid a commission based on that referral.

In other words, Powur doesn’t create any solar panels on its own. Instead, it sells homeowners on the “installation” of solar panels by providing them an accurate estimate.

Currently, Powur is only available in 16 states across America. This isn’t due to any legal requirements: it’s due to the fact that these 16 states have the most solar energy potential.

The 16 states where Powur is currently operating include Arizona, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Washington DC.

The company also claims that they’re growing quickly and will be expanding to more states in the near future.

Powur Compensation Plan

Powur, like most MLMs, costs money to join. To join Powur, you’ll want to pay $199 to receive your Solar Certification.

That certification isn’t technically required in order to start your Powur business. However, after you receive this Solar Certification, you’ll have access to new sections on your payment grid that were previously unavailable.

Powur hasn’t published any further details about its benefits, residual pay, or bonuses. You’ll need to apply to the company via personal invitation in order to become an Advocate. Since the company just launched in August 2015, these personal invitations are scarce at the moment.

We do know that there are two ways to earn money through Powur:

— Convince homeowners to upgrade their homes to solar
— Train others to upgrade homes to solar and join Powur

When the quotes you create for a homeowner move to the installation phase, you get a commission. As the Powur FAQ section explains, “Your earnings are also based on the team you build. Our compensation plan offers an excellent opportunity to earn bonuses and residual pay as you build your business.”

What is Solar City?

Solar City is the company that Powur has partnered with to provide solar panels. Once again, Powur sells the installation while getting the actual solar panels from someone else.

Solar City is owned by Elon Musk, the guy who created Tesla Motors (and continues to run Tesla Motors while also making plans to colonize Mars).

You can learn more about the company here: http://www.solarcity.com/

The company’s current sales pitch is that “Every 3 minutes, someone switches to SolarCity”. The company also lists its partners (investors) as Honda, Google, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Bank of America, and other big names.

Put simply, Solar City is a legitimate company that appears to have huge potential for growth. Powur hasn’t partnered with some low-quality manufacturer here.

Who Should Join Powur?

Powur is a growing opportunity that’s looking more and more attractive every day. If you can talk about solar energy and sell people on its benefits (and the benefits are pretty obvious), then you’ll have a chance to succeed with Powur.

Like all new MLMs, there’s also a considerable opportunity for those who join early. Since the company just recently launched in 2014, the best time to join was yesterday. The second best time to join is today.
